Stylish mix
There is an old Belle Epoque building, not far from the church of Dudelange, on the corner of rue Michel Lentz and rue Antoine Zinnen. This is where we chose to build our brand-new “Widderhall” development. With this project, we set out to renovate and extend a historic building that belongs to the city's collective memory. As ever, with the utmost respect for the architectural charm of the past, making this development in the centre of the charming town of Dudelange the perfect example of a successful mix of classical and contemporary styles.
"Widderhall”
The new “Widderhall” development is a combination of architectural styles. The building has a light plaster façade with classic and modern lines, as well as a mansard roof with contemporary accents. The many openings in the façade ensure optimal light in the seven apartments and three one- and two-bedroom duplexes. On the ground floor there are two large commercial spaces and a communal garden accessible to traders.
A practical building with a rich history
Although it dates from the Belle Epoque, the building that forms the cornerstone of our “Widderhall” development has everything you would expect from a contemporary home. Besides two outdoor parking spaces, there are five additional parking spaces in the cellar, which can be accessed with a car lift. There are also nine private storage rooms for residents and a communal laundry room in the cellar. A type D ventilation system guarantees optimum comfort throughout the year. “Widderhall” is the kind of living space that is steeped in history but is nonetheless in step with the times.
Widderhall: Layout
- 1 bedroom X 4 (+ 2 duplexes)
- 2 bedrooms X 6 (+ 1 duplex)
“Widderhall is an excellent example of a harmonious combination of a historical building with contemporary amenities. Here, Antonissen demonstrates once again how quality continues to be a priority in all the developments it builds. Every day, future residents will be able to enjoy the historic architecture, which has been seamlessly integrated into the contemporary site.”
"Friends told me about Antonissen Development Group and that is how I found out about some of their developments. I now own an apartment in Zurenborgpoort, which I bought for my children. My contacts with the Antonissen team were transparent and good every step of the way. I also liked that they sent me regular updates about the progress of the works. They even took photos to document the evolution of our apartment and the building.”

Dudelange, a dynamic green city
In the extreme south of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, just 20 kilometres from the capital, lies Dudelange, the fourth most populous municipality in the Grand Duchy and also the fourth largest in terms of surface area. Declared a city in 1907, Dudelange offers its inhabitants a high-quality living environment in close proximity to plenty of greenery and centrally located sports facilities, shops, restaurants and cafés, among others.
A city in nature
In Dudelange, the word city takes on a whole new meaning, with green spaces outnumbering concrete. The recently redesigned Émile Mayrisch city park borders on the city centre and offers residents a unique place to unwind. The Le'h park, which is just a stone's throw from the city centre, is home to one of the largest climbing forests in the Grand Duchy. But Dudelange's greatest green asset is the thriving nature that surrounds the city, namely the Haard nature reserve (198 hectares).
All the sports you can think of
There are numerous hiking trails in the Haard nature reserve surrounding Dudelange. But in addition to hikers, lovers of other sports will also get their money's worth in the town and its suburbs because Dudelange also has a cross-border mountain bike circuit, an outdoor swimming pool with heated pools, and a sports centre with a gym, a dojo, an athletics track, a multi-purpose hall, a climbing wall and an indoor swimming pool with a children's pool. No wonder then that the city has a whopping 220 sports associations and clubs!
Shopping and culinary experiences
Our “Widderhall” development is situated in the centre of Dudelange, just a few hundred metres from the trendy shops and restaurants in the town centre. Besides the well-known major brands, numerous independent traders make the shopping experience even more pleasant and complete. There is also a weekly market in place de l'Hôtel de Ville, and a monthly market in place Fohrmann with textiles, household items and leather goods. Residents will tell you there is no shortage of restaurants, bars and cafés in Dudelange. Treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail in the Tiki decor of the “Nasty Bar”, sample Peruvian cuisine at “Mad about Peru” or enjoy a delicious culinary experience at the Dudelange casino. Have you explored all of Dudelange? The city of Luxembourg awaits just 15 kilometres away and is the ideal destination for an unforgettable day of shopping and gastronomy.
Centrally located
Our “Widderhall” development is located in the centre of Dudelange, near all the most important amenities. Shops, restaurants and bars are within walking distance, as is the train station, which is just 500 metres from Widderhall on foot.
