Oberpallen is a picturesque hamlet in the municipality of Beckerich and the Canton of Redange in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The rural village has a population of 376 and is near the Belgian border. Although Arlon is just a 10-minute drive, you are surrounded by peace and quiet, far away from the busy city.
We are building a new multifamily residential with two magnificent single-family dwellings in the centre of Oberpallen. The contemporary newbuild blends in harmoniously with its surroundings thanks to the uniform architectural style, earthy tones and natural materials. The soft white façade plaster, the grey slate roof, the natural stone enclosure, the golden brown joinery, the green plantings... Everything comes together to perfection.
The stylish simplicity and luxurious look and feel of the exterior are extended to the interior. The living space feels warm and comfortable thanks to the high-end materials that were used for the finish. Daylight streams in through the large windows and the living room looks out onto the garden at the rear and the countryside behind it.
Both dwellings have a practical layout with pleasant living spaces:
Both dwellings have sufficient parking spaces: the first dwelling has 2 parking spaces with direct access to the house, whereas the second dwelling has an adjoining car parking area with 3 spaces.
"Friends told me about Antonissen Development Group and that is how I found out about some of their developments. I now own an apartment in Zurenborgpoort, which I bought for my children. My contacts with the Antonissen team were transparent and good every step of the way. I also liked that they sent me regular updates about the progress of the works. They even took photos to document the evolution of our apartment and the building.”
Oberpallen is as quiet as it gets. Make no mistake, however: Beckerich is a vibrant town. Over the past few years, the municipality has made significant investments in out-of-school childcare, sports infrastructure and a new fire station. The Shopping Village Pall Center has a nice selection of shops as well as some specialty stores that sell fresh products, including a butcher, a fishmonger and Taste Lab, the lovely new patisserie at the entrance. Future residents will enjoy a higher quality of life here thanks to the many amenities and the stunning surroundings.
Oberpallen is surrounded by nature, making it a great place to unwind during a hike or bike trip through the forests and fields. Nonetheless, the city is nearer than you think. Want to go shopping or have dinner with friends? Or maybe you work in the capital? Luxembourg City is just 30 minutes by car, Arlon just 5 km away. Many young couples have chosen to settle in Oberpallen, drawn by the ease of access and the fact that it is such a pleasant and dynamic place to live.
Oberpallen is situated in Guttland, a region dotted with picturesque villages and a rich past. Beckerich is no different. The Millen cultural centre is located in a stunning, restored mill that is home to an old sawmill, a museum dedicated to old arts and crafts, an art gallery, a restaurant and a brewery. You can also visit the medieval chapel on Kuelebierg hill (just 15 minutes by bike from Oberpallen). The former train station at Noerdange is also well worth exploring.
Did you know that Beckerich has its own mineral water? A sign that the municipality really cherishes its natural resources and wants people to also enjoy them. Sustainable development is an absolute priority and Beckerich hopes to be able to generate enough energy in the future to cover its own needs. The town is already investing in renewable energy with the installation of solar panels and district heating.
