Lenient legislation
Investing in parking space is a hassle-free investment. The renting of parking spaces does not fall under the residential tenancy act, but under general tenancy law, which is much more lenient. In principle, even a verbal agreement is sufficient, although we always recommend putting any agreements (e.g. provisions about annual rent indexations) on paper.
Flexible renting
You determine the duration of the lease and the rental deposit yourself. You can even request pre-payment. Do you prefer an open-ended rental agreement? The notice period is just 1 month in that case. That way, you can get rid of unreliable tenants relatively easily.
