B-Hive: a hub for smart living and working

The former Arcelor Mittal site in the centre of Belval is making way for B-Hive, a newbuild development that was inspired by a beehive, where residential units are combined with business and commercial spaces. The development consists of 6 apartments, a penthouse, 3 commercial spaces, and 12 office spaces that are ideally suited for SMEs. Work on B-hive is ongoing and the development is gradually taking shape. This marks an important step in the transformation of this historic site into a vibrant, multifaceted hub for living, working and doing business.

Living in bustling Belval

Our B-Hive development consists of 3 two-bedroom apartments, 3 three-bedroom apartments, 1 penthouse, and 3 commercial spaces with a floor area of 49 to 71 m2. Each apartment has a covered terrace, a cellar and its own underground parking space.

A growth driver for businesses

Besides the residential units, B-Hive also has 5 floors with 11 modular office spaces with a floor area of 100 m2 on average. This makes these spaces ideally suited for SMEs, liberal professions and companies in the finance and services sector that want to grow and draw on Belval’s innovative vibe and dynamic economy. The modern design with large windows by prestigious architectural firm Metaform draws in a lot of light on all the floors. Need a breath of fresh air to spark your creativity? The communal rooftop terrace has a view of the green walking boulevard.

Prioritising quality of life

“B-Hive is our response to the growing demand for space to live and work in Luxembourg. The neighbourhood around B-Hive has become a knowledge hub, in part thanks to the University of Luxembourg which has its campus there, and a good source for talent recruitment.” Ideally suited for students and young professionals who are happy to share a home. Moreover, the many leisure opportunities are an added bonus in a region like Luxembourg, which also attracts border workers. Go to a concert at ‘La Rockhal’, one of the largest concert halls in the region, head to the cinema or check out the stores in the shopping centre. All amenities are within walking distance of the apartment.
