Widderhall, a heritage residence with contemporary allure
Widderhall, a Belle Epoque building from the early 1900s, is part of the collective memory of Dudelange. Following an impressive transformation, it has since become a contemporary residence where past and present are seamlessly blended. Thanks to a meticulous reinterpretation of the building’s heritage value and the use of high-quality materials and sustainable techniques, Widderhall combines timeless architecture with contemporary living quality.
Architecture that engages with the present
Widderhall combines historical grandeur with a contemporary design language. The light plaster façade respects the building’s original character, with subtle modern lines and refined details adding a contemporary look and feel. The mansard roof is a typical design element of Belle Époque architecture and has been adapted to contemporary standards. Large windows provide abundant light, enhancing living comfort. There are two commercial spaces on the ground floor, as well as a communal garden where residents can unwind.
Historic character, contemporary comfort
Behind the characterful façade lies a building that ticks all the boxes in terms of contemporary living requirements. Residents have access to both above-ground parking spaces and additional spaces in the underground car park, which is rare in an urban setting. This sense of quality and tranquillity is extended to every residential unit, where high-quality materials and contemporary design are blended for an elegant look and feel. Private storage rooms and a communal laundry room offer convenience, while a ventilation system D ensures a healthy and pleasant indoor climate in all seasons.

Dudelange, a dynamic green city
In the extreme south of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, just 20 kilometres from the capital, lies Dudelange, the fourth most populous municipality in the Grand Duchy and also the fourth largest in terms of surface area. Declared a city in 1907, Dudelange offers its inhabitants a high-quality living environment in close proximity to plenty of greenery and centrally located sports facilities, shops, restaurants and cafés, among others.
A city in nature
In Dudelange, the word city takes on a whole new meaning, with green spaces outnumbering concrete. The recently redesigned Émile Mayrisch city park borders on the city centre and offers residents a unique place to unwind. Parc Le’h, which is just a stone's throw from the city centre, is home to one of the largest climbing forests in the Grand Duchy. But Dudelange's greatest green asset is the thriving nature that surrounds the city, namely the Haard nature reserve (198 hectares).
All the sports you can think of
There are numerous hiking trails in the Haard nature reserve surrounding Dudelange. But in addition to hikers, lovers of other sports will also get their money's worth in the town and its suburbs because Dudelange also has a cross-border mountain bike circuit, an outdoor swimming pool with heated pools, and a sports centre with a gym, a dojo, an athletics track, a multi-purpose hall, a climbing wall and an indoor swimming pool with a children's pool. No wonder then that the city has a whopping 220 sports associations and clubs!
